As we sink into the gorgeously cool, crisp days of fall, I can't help but think of (and make) this simple but flavorful Tomato Soup recipe from the Food Network's kitchens.

It's become a go-to over the years, as it requires mostly ingredients that are already in the pantry. And It's irresistible served with a gooey grilled cheese: I like mine with mozzarella and a few sprigs of rosemary, but any nutty cheese you have on hand will work wonderfully.
